Sculptural Botanical

Make the living world feel editorial. A direction exploration that treats floral architecture as a sculptural presence, based on one desktop and one mobile cover only.

Context
A high-end floral studio needs to show the singularity of its craft before explaining its services.
Tension
Create an expressive opening without presenting an approved art direction as a complete or tested site journey.
Decision
Treat the cover as an autonomous exploration: a large botanical portrait, contrasting typography and visible exits toward work and contact.

Capture study · the desktop and mobile versions show a proposed hierarchy.

Context and constraint

The frame before the screen.

A high-end floral studio needs to show the singularity of its craft before explaining its services.

Create an expressive opening without presenting an approved art direction as a complete or tested site journey.

Contact journey

Cover only: visual presence → intention to view work or write to the studio.

Mobile adaptation

The same cover is available at 1440 × 900 and 390 × 844. Desktop separates image and text; mobile stacks image, editorial marker, title and CTA. This comparison documents the opening only: no mobile adaptation of Work, Studio or Contact pages is available.

Choices visible in the interface

Three choices, three screen translations.

For each choice: the need it answers, the design trade-off and its visible translation in the capture.

03

Keep a contact exit visible without inventing the next step

Need
The first screen needs an exit without inventing destinations.
Choice
Show work and contact routes while keeping the study’s boundary explicit.
On screen
Header and title-area links expose the intended exits; destinations are not built.

The visible routes are part of the concept; their destinations remain to be designed.

What you can judge

An honest study shows its limit.

This is a direction exploration, not a complete case study. Work, Studio and Contact pages, destinations, contact details and availability remain to be designed, supplied and tested before publication.

Provenance

A documented direction.

Studio concept — art direction and design by Devanture Studio. The captures are design supports supplied in this portfolio.
